I’m Aunt B! Come on in, take your shoes off, and get comfy, we have a lot to talk about.

My name is Bethany and I have way too much time on my hands. As a stay-at-home wife of an engineer who loves his job, you can imagine all of the things I do in a day to keep our house tidy. Yeah right! Most of the time I’m cozied up on the couch with a cat or two watching Gilmore Girls.

Ever since I unexpectedly lost my job last year I have had to find creative ways to fill my days. I have made over 7 blankets and still have many more in the works, I developed an addiction to ginger ale, rekindled my painting hobby, and got my family obsessed with brown butter Rice Krispie treats.

As the world continues to nose dive, I thought what could be a better time to start a blog? So here we are, domain purchased, website designed, colors chosen, and posts being typed. I wanted to start this blog to be a cozy space for those who need it, kind of like your aunt’s house. Somewhere where you can eat a muffin and get life advice. Somewhere where you can make a pinata and plan your next girl’s trip. 

A place where nothing and everything makes sense. 

We are going to have such a great time together! I can’t wait to share recipes, church happenings, crochet projects, gardening tips, DIY projects, organizational guides, and much more. If I think it’s internet-worthy, I’ll post it. There are too many fake people on the internet these days, so I will be as transparent as I can without being too embarrassed.
